Sales and Marketing Manager With Selecta Systems Ltd

The Company

Selecta Systems is a privately owned business with in excess of 30 years experience in the home improvements market. Established as one of the UK’s most trusted suppliers of extruded PVC to the double glazing trade, composite doors and now entering the exciting and rapidly expanding Solar PV market Selecta is a fast moving, dynamic and growing company.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of marketing activities across the full Selecta product range.
These will include:

In-house design and production of marketing materials, trade advertisements, flyers and brochures in line with Selecta’s specific marketing strategies;

Securing editorial and PR space within trade, local and national media publications;

Print buying and negotiations with suppliers to the marketing department;

Continual development and optimisation of multiple Selecta websites;

Market research to gather competitor and customer intelligence;

Organisation and attendance of relevant trade exhibitions and roadshows;

Preparation of customer quotations and general admin assistance to the Sales and Marketing Director;

Hands-on involvement to ‘get the job done’ within tight deadlines;

About You

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing with a minimum of 2 years experience within a fast moving, price sensitive market. Highly creative, with skills in the use of website optimisation software and desk-top publishing packages you will be able to work with minimal direction or supervision to produce impactful and effective marketing literature and web based marketing campaigns. Hard working, ambitious and an outstanding communicator you will quickly take on board technical information and be able to push all the right buttons ensuring Selecta achieves success in all 3 key market sectors.
