SELECTA'S NEW COMMERCIAL DIVISION HERALDS RETURN OF JASON SCRIVENS IN NEW MANAGEMENT ROLE

Selecta Systems, one of the UK's leading independent extruders of PVC-u window systems, has welcomed Jason Scrivens back to the firm as commercial/new business sales manager. Jason, who has nearly 20 years experience in the window industry, was formerly business development manager with the company.

Selecta Systems is a leading producer and supplier of PVC-u profiles and components to manufacturers of windows, doors and conservatories. The Birmingham-based company operates from a purpose built extrusion plant which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Selecta Systems has a wide product portfolio which includes machinery, hardware, cladding, door panels, hand tools and rainwater products.

In his new role, Jason will be developing opportunities with local authorities, housing associations as well as local and national contractors for Selecta Systems. He had briefly left to join a machinery company but was attracted back to Selecta because of the company's progressive approach to the industry.

Based in the new commercial division, he will work closely with Selecta's Product Design Manager Trevor Collins developing solutions for this growing market and providing a high level of support for any Selecta fabricator customers working in the sector.

Commenting on his return, Mark Richmond, Selecta's Sales and Marketing Director, commented: "With the launch of the new division we are delighted to welcome Jason back knowing that his experience and forward thinking approach to the industry will assist in the progression and growth strategies of this company. Working alongside Trevor, Jason will play a pivotal role in further developing this section of the business which is wholeheartedly dedicated to the commercial sector.'

Jason Scrivens added, "To assist in the launch and development of Selecta's new division within the commercial sector is an exciting and challenging opportunity. Selecta is already recognized for a wide range of products and is highly regarded among our target market, in particular because of our innovative Advance 70 system as it is so quick and easy to install. Selecta has also gained a good reputation as a reliable supplier with quick turnarounds, which is vital in this industry. Although there may be a lot of competition within this sector, I'm confident that Selecta will prove to be very successful as people appreciate the superior product quality and levels of service that the company provides.'
